Part of the capsule collection, Flare totem is inspired by the three-dimensional color studies of South Korean artist Jiyong Lee and the compositional brilliance of Vasa Mihich’s acrylic sculptures. It epitomizes Draga & Aurel’s deep dive into the interplay of colors and light refraction, achieved with rigorous study of materials and research into new artisanal techniques. The totem is crafted entirely from lucite. Different sheets of acrylic resin with various depths and colors are merged to obtain shades and gradients. This piece is produced exclusively for Todd Merrill Studio.
